Portfolio — Vol. 01

Analytical Chemist.
Food Science Professional.
Research Support.

Analytical chemist with over seven years of laboratory experience in food quality, analytical testing, and regulatory compliance. Holder of a BSc in Industrial Chemistry and an MSc in Food Science & Nutrition, with practical expertise in sample preparation, instrumental analysis, quality assurance, and scientific documentation.

Passionate about applying analytical science to food safety, contaminant surveillance, and research. Recognised for strong critical thinking, attention to detail, leadership, creativity, and evidence-based decision making.

§ 01 — Profile

A practitioner's approach.

My professional journey combines analytical chemistry, food science, laboratory quality assurance, governance, and technical problem-solving.

Over seven years working within regulated laboratory environments, I developed expertise in analytical testing, sample preparation, quality control, regulatory documentation, and interpreting scientific data against established standards. My experience has strengthened my ability to produce reliable results while maintaining compliance with quality management procedures.

My postgraduate research expanded this foundation through an extensive investigation into gluten-free food development, combining scientific literature analysis with laboratory evaluation to identify evidence-based improvements in food quality.

Beyond laboratory science, I have gained experience supporting governance, technical operations, information security, and customer-focused environments. These roles strengthened my communication skills, documentation standards, organisational ability, and confidence working across multidisciplinary teams.

I bring a proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and genuine curiosity for scientific discovery. I enjoy leading by example, collaborating with others, and finding practical solutions to technical challenges through critical thinking and continuous improvement.
